maxi mini-comics

The other day, someone asked me if I do comics besides what I post here. Why, yes. Yes, I do.

I took 3 new mini-comics with me to STAPLE! in March. Oyster is about a nasty stye I had that, sadly, contained no pearl:

Happy Birthday to You is a coming-of-age tale about the trials and tribulations of teenage mouth sex:

Skinny Dip, my favorite of the three, is about night-swimming:

Since STAPLE!, I've been working on some newer stuff. Gigantic: Adventures in Unrequited Love chronicles my plentiful, one-sided love disasters, from "Elementary School" to "Old Enough to Know Better":

Tumbleweave is the tale of the-little-hairball-who-could, who travels from a braid salon in Harlem to the deserts of West Texas in search of her true, tumbleweed love. Maybe you've seen the movie:

Oh, I've been a busy little bee! I got a couple other things going on, too. It's mini-comic central here at my tiny, cluttered, poorly-lit Ikea desk. If you're interested in buying one of these little hand-stapled-with-love goodies, send me an email: jugwinecomix@yahoo.com

I'd love to buy copies of your work! I absolutely love what I've seen! How much, and where do I send it?

How did you color those gray-tone ones? Marker or computer? I really like the way your comics come out normally, but I love the gray-tones!

Thanks. I use Prismacolor markers, both warm and cool gray tones.

Yay! I have these prismacolor markers, too! Now if I can use them as effectively as you.
