Thanks to Rachel and Meg for having me on Lip Service last night! I really like talking into microphones. If I ebayed one and used it at the house I wonder if I'd get to keep my boyfriend.
I had a really great time nerding out on feminist critiques of comics. It's refreshing to get other ladies' takes on cartoonists and their art, because it can be a real challenge to explain to boys why certain male-made comics heralded as the be-all-end-all of the art form totally skeeve me out. It also felt totally awesome to tell the listening audience that my comics are inherently feminist.
